My friend sent me an email today - his wife has run a lovely little wine shop in Didsbury, Manchester for years - and they have just launched an online wine store!

So I thought I would do a little blog about it for them…

Today I will concentrate on Red Wine!

They sell a variety of hand picked red wines including:

Abadia Retuerta Rivola
Alain Chatoux Beaujolais Vieilles Vignes
Allegrini Amarone

I’m going to order a couple now and will give you the results of my wine tasting report as soon as I can!

Red Wine Fact:

Red wines should usually be served at just slightly colder than the room temperature, younger fruity reds however will be a bit nicer if served a little bit cooler.

I often get asked, what exactly is a Bridging Loan?

A bridging loan is a short term loan - frequently used during the house buying process - to “bridge” any gap in finances.

Can you give me an example of a situation where someone might need a bridging loan?

A person finds the house they want, makes an offer - and if ready to pay for the new house. The only problem is the sale of their house has not gone through, or they are still waiting on the mortgage application to be fully processed. Rather than let their dream house be snapped up by someone else - they need to borrow a large sum of money.

However taking out a standard personal loan for amounts in excess of £25,000 isn’t a good idea in this situation.

The solution: A Bridging Loan. A temporary loan - which last frequently for as short a period of 1 day.

“Sell My House To Rent It Back”

If you ever need to release a bit of capitol (perhaps you need to pay off a loan or invest in a new business but don’t want to take out a loan) a great way of doing it is to sell and rent back your house.

If you have been paying your house off for a while or have already paid off your mortgage you will most likely have a lot of equity in your house, and it may be a much better idea to use this than to take out a loan at a high rate of interest.
